'Mannenkleedje'/'Male doily'

Tja, je vraagt je nu waarschijnlijk af wat een 'mannenkleedje' is? Het is een kleedje die ik gehaakt heb voor mijn vader. Hij wilde graag voor vaderdag iets leuks hebben voor over de armleuning op de bank, zodat hij zijn arm daarop kan leggen. Ik ben op Pinterest gaan zoeken naar inspiratie en zag dit kleedje. Omdat dat ik dat iets 'te' vond voor mijn vader ben ik op deze site gaan kijken. Ik vond nog een paar andere leuke kleedjes van Nathan Vincent en heb vervolgens het kleedje een beetje nagemaakt. Wie weet ga ik nog een ander 'mannenkleedje' maken ;)

Well, you probably asked yourselve what a 'male doily' is, right? It's a doily which I made for my father. He would like to have something nice for Fathersday which he can put on the armrest of the couch, so that he can lay his arm on. I searched on Pinterest for some inspiration and I found this doily. But I found this a bit 'too much' for my father, so therefore I looked on this site. I saw another nice doilies of Nathan Vincent and I decided to make the doily as above. Maybe I will make another 'male doilies' ;).

    

Tijdens het WK voetbal Nederland-Australie heb ik dit kleedje lekker buiten in de zon afgemaakt. Nederland won toen met 3-2 :-)

During the World Championship soccer the Netherlands-Australia, I finished this doily while I was sitting outside in the sun. The Netherlands won with 3-2 :-)
